RELATIONSHIP-BASED
Waldorf teachers are trained to build authentic relationships and cultivate compassion and understanding for each of their students. Because Waldorf teachers loop through multiple grades with their classes, students and teachers build lasting bonds and students develop trust and reverence for their teachers.
HANDS-ON APPROACH
In Waldorf education, students are encouraged to engage with learning through active, hands-on experiences. Movement, games, and creative projects are just a few of the ways Waldorf teachers foster whole-child development, making education both dynamic and deeply enriching.
Arts-Integrated
Across all subjects—from math, science, and history to world languages—students are given meaningful opportunities to express their understanding through sculpture, drawing, painting, drama, and other creative mediums.

Mission
How does Waldorf education support compassionate teaching?
Perhaps one of Waldorf education founder Rudolf Steiner’s most important ideas was that students need to be understood by their teachers. Waldorf teachers are trained to see beyond their students’ behavior and academic achievement, into the deeper layers of their humanity, and to cultivate deep understanding and care for each of them. This level of understanding supports the holistic development of each child, safeguarding their mental health and supporting their sense of self-confidence.
